The Xx

Formed in London in 2008, The Xx met while aspiring for knowledge at Elliott School. Although talented, these 15 year old students were left unnoticed until their musical expressions were brought to light. Amazingly, teachers who had no prior involvement then claimed their familiarity with the duo.

Baria Qureshi and Jamie Smith connected with Oliver Sim and Romy Madley-Croft once the band launched.

Jenna G

Jenna, music carnivore from an early age of 14, became inspired by underground sounds and hooked up with a group of MCs and DJs called Raggabeats Crew. Four dedicated years later Jenna left the group and began singing with bands at underground gigs and made her name as a vocalist and MC.		Skilln’ herself further she made her way to an introduction of DNB producers called Future Cut; who just so happen to be looking for a singer. When they obviously could not resist her voice, they turned themselves into the DNB trio called Un-Cut.

Home Video

Collin Ruffino, a blossoming mod of the 80’s and David Gross, son of 2 classical musicians, and a classical pianist in training; joined as allies in high school art class as they spent time creating their versions of the instructors childhood. Instructor was said to have grown up in a Louisiana chateau and had servants peel the grapes in which he ate. This heightened the imagination of the two. They started "drawing still lives of twisted vegetables and rendering the chiaroscuro of adolescent self portraits."
Being protected from mainstream music David was not aware of the potential it had to be as emotional as classical music. Collin, in a band called The Great and Secret Show introduced him to albums such as Mezzanine, Dummy and OK Computer; which in turn led to David playing the keyboards in their newly formed band, Home Video.

Mice Parade

Creatively rearranging his name Adam Pierce constructed the artist name Mice Parade; using this name for his solo project. Adam plays live and records in one take. Thus creating the mirage of electronic music.

Thomas Wincek an indie localist from Madison, USofA, expresses his soul through sound with his findings of unrefined and electronic resources. Releasing experimental and contemporary dance music on independent labels and touring with greats such as Tortoise, Venetian Snares, No Means No, Dillinger Escape Plan, Otto von Shirach, Doormouse, and Eight Frozen Modules.

Sascha Ring or, as we know him: Apparat. Said to be founder of compositions with sound mistakes that are now being done by all sorts of veritable musicians and singers. Expressing his emotional glitch side in the studio and equally charging up the dance floor with his IDM Elektro side. With the release of the album Walls, Ring raises a unique theory that the title isn't about dividing lines. Instead, Walls describes a “circle that pulls many elements together into a protected enclosed space where they jostle and roam free.”

Stimulated by LTJ Bukems Logical Progression, 16 year old DJ Nathan Hayes powerfully moved his own sound through out North Carolina. Raising height to his game, beat production came shortly after; in which he found himself catching the attention of international fames such as Total Science and Digital.

Lyrical 360

Growing up with no sign of DNB on his play list, Rage Against The Machine fan Matt Gresham did a lyrical 360 when introduced to the "Music Box" LP released by Full Cycle Records. The LP appealed to him as "like downtempo tunes with double time beats". Now signed to Hospital Records under the artist name Logistics, Matt is achieving statuses such as “most eagerly anticipated album ever to be released on Hospital.”

Kissing

Producer and DJ, Matthew Dear/Audion is the founder of Spectral Sound, a sister label to Ghostly International. Working with Greats such as Ellen Allien and Liquid Liquid, Audions' name is traveling the world at record speed.

The Flashbulb

Benn Lee Jordan, a gifted, self-taught guitarist. Left-handed with no proper lessons, Jordan fashioned himself into a right-handed, upside down, guitar artist. Jordan started out his career releasing his music on small labels in the United States and Europe. Aside from the electronic music scene, Jordan works as a freelance composer for various television and film agencies. Jordan battles with depression and depersonalization disorder, making extended and international touring particularly difficult.

Dust

Living above a vintage radio shop in Berlin, Martin Wheeler spends most of his time working on his fourth album. Born in Reading, UK, Martin Wheeler, started recording in his teens, influenced by the sounds of Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode and Suicide. A ‘geek’ before the term was in common use, Wheeler became a computer games designer at 16 and went on to develop over 25 titles for ZX Spectrum, Atari ST, PC, Nintentdo SNES and Gameboy before returning to music. In March 2008 Vector Lovers designed the DR1 Dr Drone synthesizer, released to growing acclaim from electronic producers.

Allien

Ellen Allien; girl dj,founder of BPitch record label and fashion designer. It is apparent that her desire for progression is out of this world. Growing up in Berlin Ellen immersed herself in music. Teaching herself how to read music notes, plinking on her electric organ and listening to her juke box, Ellen started her journey down the path in which she would become Ellen Allien. After the Berlin Wall came down Ellen had the opportunity to focus on art and music as she worked behind a bar in the fischlabor; which soon grew in to a music network where. There Ellen made her first mixed tapes which then led to playing her music in the night lived “techno scene of empty industrial buildings” in Berlin. This is where the dawn of Ellen Allien took place. With the night life closing down in Berlin, and the burning desire to continue expressing herself through music Ellen founded BPitch.

In 2011 Ellen/BPitch released werkschau which she complied herself. The album contains “extraordinary and highly functional club gems that represent BPitch's harmonious concept.”
