fright, anxiously

wandering into

the unknown.

But holding fast
with no regrets.

Striving to feel
challenged and

successful. Remembering

to be proud of

strides taken.

Looking for

the next frightful

yet challenging
alley that I

have not
turned down?

It is near.
I can taste it
on my tongue;
